History
AKU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was established in 1995 and since 1997 the first students began to accept.

Admission Requirements
(1) High School Diploma, (2) Placement through a centralised, nation-wide student selection and placement examination organized by Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). Candidates gain access to the programmes based on their composite scores consisting of the scores on the centralized exam and high school grade point averages.
Higher Grade Transition
Have completed five years of education at the graduate level candidates, provided they satisfy the sufficient conditions can participate in postgraduate doctoral programs.
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the Faculty, students have taken the courses to be successful, and successful completion of the internship is required to complete a total of 300 ECTS credits.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Our graduates; veterinarians can work as free. In addition, the public and private sectors of food, agriculture and livestock, in the pharmaceutical sector, can work in private or public organizations.
